Decoration

In the meantime, expert hands create the shapes with the desired images by engraving the special sponges.
After a meticulous choice of colours and shades, every single tone is brushed and shaded directly on the sponge. The decoration will then be transferred like a stamp onto the shape to be decorated, using just the right pressure to release the exact amount of colour required. This operation will be repeated each time because the sponge is discharged with each print, so the result will be slightly different each time and this also makes our products so special and unique.
In addition to sponges we also use a lot of brush decoration, which is part of our longstanding tradition, airbrushing and other techniques when necessary.
Once the colour has dried on the "bisque", we proceed with the immersion into the glaze and immediately afterwards, with the application of the trademark on the bottom of the product. We are ready for the second firing at 1030°C where anything can happen, even eventual surprises.
